The greatest problem of this world is that there is no one who created it; it came into existence on its own. And my greatest wish is there were someone who created it. I wish God existed. But God cannot manifest just because I want or do not want Him to, nor can this world be created all over again.
"God" is the most beautiful creation of human beings; I wish human beings were the most beautiful creation of God. If it were so, the law of karma would also exist—where the wrongdoer would get bad and the good would get good; the soul would exist, the Supreme Soul would exist, reincarnation would happen, there would be life after birth, and ancestral spirits would exist. But none of this exists; nothing exists at all.
No logic in the world can prove the existence of God, and that is why an illogical logic emerged: "bhakti"—slightly detached from love, and slightly evasive of logic. Yes, it is possible you believe that God exists, and you might even sense a presence, but who is it that senses it? The brain... but the complexity of the brain cannot be taken as proof of God's existence.
Even so, let's assume for a moment that God exists, that God created us, and that this world, nature, and its laws were all made by God. Then who made God? Let's assume He manifested on His own. Then why can't this world manifest on its own? Why can't life manifest on its own? What is even the need for God for it to come into existence?
Let's try to understand this again. If we have to make something, what actions must we perform? 1) Thinking, and 2) Moving our hands (body). Now, what action must God have had to perform to create us? He wouldn't have made us with His hands, or maybe He made a prototype with His hands. But whatever the case, He must have performed the action of thinking. Now, the science of thinking happens through electricity running through neurons, which is a field of science. Meaning, when God thought, some similar process must have occurred. The problem is, when God needed these instruments of science to think, who made this science/these instruments? Did they appear on their own? If they appeared on their own, then how can we say that God created this universe or this earth and gave us life? And the question remains the same: if these appeared on their own, then why couldn't this earth, these trees, these humans, or living beings also appear on their own? However, "appearing on their own" would be the wrong phrase, because this is a process of millions of years where a single cell evolves and keeps taking different complex forms according to the place and circumstance. Anyway, that is a subject of biology.
No logic can prove the existence of God. And that is why bhakti was invented. Love was already present in nature; bhakti has been invented.
Bhakti can be of two types:
Bhakti: A stage of love where you start worshipping your lover.
Bhakti: Where you start worshipping someone after reading about them, hearing about them, seeing a miracle, or seeing other people practicing bhakti.
We are talking about the second aspect, where bhakti arises without love.
I have seen bhakti (2), I have practiced love. How illogical people become in bhakti; they cannot accept what is wrong, so they give every illogical argument to prove even the wrong as right. On the other hand, love—the supreme among emotions—is an emotion that everyone admired from afar, but up close, wanted only for themselves. Love, where the line that marks the difference between two lovers feels as if it has been erased. Where the "body" is not a desire, but feels like an obstacle in the way of union. Where, despite not knowing the existence of the soul, a yearning for self-dissolution arises.
